A more than 35-year-old independent brokerage based in the Pacific Northwest, Paulson Investment Company sought to raise national awareness as it helped take micro and small cap companies public and continued its expansion to more than 41 branches across the United States.

In late 2008, Paulson held its annual Westergaard Conference for investment professionals in New York City, and LANE PR saw an opportunity for national media coverage. Seeking to attract elite investment professionals on the East Coast to the conference, LANE PR launched a targeted print, online and broadcast media campaign to raise awareness of the event.

The result?  LANE PR secured media coverage of Paulson and the event in print and online media that included Businessweek.com, CNN.com, Reuters and MSNBC.com.  The agency arranged for Paulson’s executive team to ring the NASDAQ opening bell the morning of the conference and marked the close of the event with a FOX Business television roundtable discussion featuring Paulson Investment Company’s CEO.
